Spring has arrived, the sun is shining, the weather forecast is good, we’ve stocked up with fabulous plants, the coffee shop has lots of cakes and we’re open every day over the Bank Holiday weekend! Our opening hours are:

Saturday 4th May 9am to 5pm

Sunday 5th May 10am to 4pm

Monday 6th May 9am to 5pm

Easter Opening Hours

Don’t be downheartened by the weather; spring must arrive sometime! Although we can’t guarantee any warm and sunny weather this Easter we can guarantee a warm and friendly welcome, along with some wonderful top quality plants. We’re also offering 20% off all Camellias and 20% off our Special Trolley Plants all weekend, and if the weather’s bad, we do a good line in hot drinks and hot snacks! Our opening hours this Easter Weekend are:

Good Friday – 10am to 4pm
Easter Saturday – 9am to 5pm
Easter Sunday – Closed
Bank Holiday Monday – 10am to 4pm

Plantation Nursery Landscape secure BP Landscaping Contract

Gavin Jones Ltd, are pleased to announce their most recent new contract win for hard and soft landscaping. The company has secured a deal on phases 3 of BP’s International Centre for business and technology in Sunbury.

The deal reflects the success of the continuing relationship between the companies following successful phase 1 & 2 completion; including major improvements on the original design, incorporating many sustainability and biodiversity projects. Gavin Jones’ Divisional Manager Kevin White commented, “Over the last year we have been working hard towards securing these opportunities and Phase 3 has been awarded to us on the basis of our previous performances on Phases 1 & 2. Our in house designer Matt Cairns has been working tirelessly on design revisions to BP for approval and Contracts Manager, Wayne Trundle has done an excellent job of supervising the previous 2 phases to very demanding health and safety standards”.

Located in the north of Sunbury on the site of Meadhurst House, the Centre was formerly owned by the Cadbury family and is now home to a large number of BP’s business units. A number of other major companies, including Chubb, also have premises on the site.

Here at The Plantation we love this time of year. January has finished, the snow has gone and now it’s time to look forward to the spring. We’re enjoying bringing in all of our plants from our production sites across Europe and the UK – and lorries full of new plants are rolling in several times a week. The team are hard at work processing, unpacking and labelling all of the interesting new stock. In addition to all the old favourites we’re introducing some new exciting lines, ready to inspire you in your garden.
